Toronto, ON January 10, 2017 – The Salvation Army is pleased to announce that it raised over $23.5 million nationally through its Christmas Kettle Campaign, surpassing its $21-million goal.

“We are truly grateful for the continued support of our donors, volunteers and community partners, who enable us to help 1.9 million struggling Canadians during the Christmas season and throughout the year,” says Commissioner Susan McMillan, Territorial Commander for The Salvation Army in Canada and Bermuda.

TORONTO, December 17, 2015 ― On Saturday, December 19, Walmart Canada will match donations made by individuals to Salvation Army Christmas kettles located in its stores nationwide up to a maximum of $100,000.

December 14, 2015 – The Salvation Army is offering clothing vouchers as part of a welcome package for refugees arriving in Canada. These vouchers can be redeemed at Salvation Army Thrift Stores and will help provide the additional clothing needed by newcomers as they settle in the country.
