Thursday June 27th marked the final day of service in the Ontario Great Lakes Division for Lieut.-Colonels Lee and Debbie Graves in their respective roles of Divisional Commander and Divisional Director of Women’s Ministries.

Staff and Advisory Board members along with a few guests gathered for a coffee and cake social. A few tears and many laughs accompanied memories of the past 4 years and words of thanks from Major Pat Phinney, Divisional Secretary for Public Relations and Development, and Mr. Scott Barrett, Divisional Secretary for Business Administration.

In their final written message to the division, Lee and Debbie write;

“Deb and I are not goodbye people at all. We prefer to cherish memories of which we have many from over these remarkable four years. Our prayer for you is that the God who we believe brought all of us to service in The Salvation Army, the God who continues this work in and through us, will also continue to lead us forward from victory to victory. There is much to be done. Thank you for faithful dedicated service.

And now a word, a prayer from the Scripture; “May God Himself give you more and more mercy, peace, and love.”  Jude 1:2

You have our love, affection, profound respect and assurance of prayer as we all remain In His Service.”

The Ontario Great Lakes Division continues to be a strong and vibrant division through the leadership of Lee and De
bbie. We wish you well in your new positions at Territorial Headquarters.
