Gather, Give and Go

The story of Jesus feeding the multitudes with 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish was so captivating that all four gospel writers included the retelling of it in their account of Jesus life.  (Matt 14:13-21; Mark 6:30-44; Luke 9:10-17; John 6:1-15). Faced with the problem of taking care and feeding the masses of people who had followed Jesus, and collecting only 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish, the disciples concluded there was nothing they could do.

What is our challenge? Ensuring our own soul is nourished, we must determine how we go to those who are spiritually hungry, not satisfied, or longing for something more. Have we resigned ourselves there is nothing more we can do? Absolutely NOT!

God can use our small resources to accomplish miraculous results. Commissioning weekend 2018 will see OUR 12 cadet/cadet couples ordained and commissioned for full-time ministry.  We invite you to “come”, and through the fellowship of believers, teaching, and celebration of God’s work in our Territory and the OCE Division, in particular, you will be further equipped to ‘go’.
