From Oakville to Toronto, to Brampton to Uxbridge, last night was Toy Mountain’s finale. Sponsors, Ford finalists and the Toy Mountain team gathered at the Toronto CTV studios for the last Toy Mountain night of the season.  For 26 days, we have asked our supporters and viewers to help make a child’s Christmas morning brighter by donating a new unwrapped toy.

In a country as great as Canada, no one should have to worry about when their next meal will be or where they will sleep at night. But the reality is that many Canadians live in conditions of poverty. Watching shoppers with their countless bags of treasures, those experiencing difficult times may struggle more with the realities of their situation. Toy Mountain strives to alleviate these holiday blues. In times of hardships, toys can help lift spirits and give hope and joy to families.

Our goal this year was 150,000… and we’ve reached, and surpassed it. Because of you and our generous sponsors we were able to raise 156,204 toys this year! We would like to congratulate David, for winning the 2017 Ford Mustang donated by our sponsors at Toronto Area Ford Dealers. And also, a special thank you to our other amazing sponsors, Marshalls, LEGOLAND Discovery Centre, Access Storage, Lowe’s and Best Buy.

Last but not least, we would like to thank everyone who came out to support Toy Mountain to help ensure that no child is left out during the holidays. Your generosity means that thousands of children and families will have a brighter and merrier Christmas.
