In support of Toy Mountain, this December marks the 8th annual Ontario Public Service Holiday Toy Drive. As beautiful Christmas carols and the smell of Christmas cookies filled the hall, Ministry Offices began to line up to help build a mountain of toys for vulnerable families across the Greater Toronto Area. Just past noon, Premier Kathleen Wynne arrived, greeting supporters and taking photos with the likes.

As the crowd began to head to the mountain of toys, CTV Toronto’s Weather Anchor, Tom Brown welcomed and introduced the Premier to the stage. “Thank you to everyone who came out here today to support this campaign. Because of you, someone will be happier on Christmas morning”. As the Premier finished her speech of thanks, Ministry Offices began to unload their new unwrapped toys to help build a toy mountain!

This year, the Holiday Toy Drive collected over 13,000 toys and books and raised over $22,000.00 in monetary donations and gift cards.
