TORONTO, December 20, 2013 – The Salvation Army 2013 Christmas Kettle Campaign in the GTA needs to raise $1,000,000 in 4 days to meet it’s $3 million goal.  Right now the campaign is falling $250,000 short compared to same time last year.  The Salvation Army is asking the citizens of the GTA to please donate.

“With the reality of so many in need at this time of year The Salvation Army appeals to the citizens of the GTA to help support our Christmas Kettle Campaign,” says Andrew Burditt, spokesperson for The Salvation Army.  “The funds from this campaign allow The Salvation Army to provide direct, compassionate, hands-on service to tens of thousands of families in the GTA each year.”
