On Friday, May 27, 2011, friends from the Circle of Hope came together to celebrate new members and to hear about the work of The Salvation Army Hope Acres.  Aux.-Captain Rob Hardy spoke of his personal battles with substance abuse and how The Salvation Army rescued him from the depths of despair.  Hope Acres is a 24 week residential treatment centre in Glencairn, Ontario.  Hope Acres’ mission is to provide men who have identified substance abuse issues the appropriate tools to assist them in making positive choices that will lead to wholeness – mentally, physically and spiritually and impact the quality of their relationship with those they love.

About The Circle of Hope

The Circle of Hope is a group of caring individuals who have told us that they have pledged to remember The Salvation Army in their estate planning.  We are truly grateful for the commitment of these donors and for their partnership in giving hope today – and always.
