Salvation Army Week (Dec. 12-18) officially kicked off with a flag raising at City Hall in Fredericton, Moncton, and Halifax.

Through the overcast skies and the snowfall, The Salvation Army flag could be seen flying high at City Hall. In a show of support for the work of The Salvation Army, a number of city officials were on hand for the event, including Mayor Mike O'Brien (Fredericton), Mayor Dawn Arnold (Moncton), Mayor Ann Seamans (Riverview), Councillor Jean-Marc Brideau (Dieppe), Mayor Mike Savage (HRM), Deputy Mayor Steve Craig (HRM), and Councillor Shawn Cleary (HRM).
