As Dignity Month wraps up this week, we’ll look back at just a couple of the many events that took place across the region to raise money and awareness about the Dignity Project.

In support of Dignity Month, the Miramichi corps of The Salvation Army held a trio of fundraisers. A barbecue raised $228.97 and a bake sale tacked on $201.60, but the month wrapped up with a fashion show earlier this week.

The fashion show, hosted at the Thrift Store, featured staff and customers modeling clothes purchased from the Thrift Store itself. The event raised an additional $217.55, bringing the total from Miramichi to just a hair under $650.
