This past weekend saw The Salvation Army Harbour Light celebrate Easter with the community.

Sunday April 1st marked a wonderful feast as Harbour Light’s community kitchen prepared a wonderful honey Dijon baked ham with all the nutritious trimmings to celebrate Easter. On average, The Salvation Army Harbour Light serves up to 350 meals per day, but on special occasions like this, our facility anticipates the arrival of over 600 guests. Individuals were welcomed with a smile by our dedicated and passionate staff and volunteers. All food in the community kitchen is donated by the community and by local businesses or individuals.

Thank you to our volunteers and donors, these special meals and afternoon events wouldn’t be possible without your help and support. Happy Easter!
