2016 was a very successful year for The Salvation Army BC Division.  We were able to not only provide food and clothes to those in need, but also delivered many other services to indivudals in need of support. In 2016 The Salvation Army in British Columbia provided:

1,227,895 Meals for the hungry

228,488 Adults and Children served through community and family services

15,916 Adults participating in treatment programs

1,607 Unique beds nightly (Hospice, Long Term Care, Assisted Living, Safe Houses, Youth Recovery, Shelter)

1,000 Community Youth sponsored for a week at Summer Camp

40 Community and Family Services

35 Community Meal Programs

20 Community Crisis Response Vehicles (on call 24/7 for fires, floods, disasters)

We are truly grateful for those who support our programs! With your help we are able to provide practical assistance for children and families all year round!
