Vimy Day Cadet Parade.

Sunday, April 12, 2015 marked this year’s annual Vimy Day Cadet Parade and Commemoration which took place at Mountain View Cemetery (MVC) at the Commonwealth Grave Site.

Over the past few years, The Salvation Army Belkin House has been honored to have partnered with the Vimy Day Commemoration Committee in providing a meal to the cadets and participants at the end of the ceremony. 

With a hand full of this, and a little of that, a scoop of this, and a dash of that, Darren the Chef, prepared an amazing vegetarian chili in the morning which was then picked up in a military jeep, delivered to MVC and served for lunch to 360 participants after the ceremony. 

The ceremony was beautiful, the weather was perfect and the chili was delicious!
