This past Saturday was the Inaugural Fill the Kettle: Celebrity Kettle Kick Off event.  The Salvation Army red kettles lined the corner of Howe & Georgia at the Pacific Centre Rotunda for the official launch of the Greater Vancouver kettle campaign.

On site, we were supported by enthusiastic bell ringers which included, local media personalities, celebrities, sports teams and athletes, all there to help fill the kettle.  Energy and spirits were high with Christmas cheer, community support, and lots of hot chocolate!

The red kettle campaign is one of The Salvation Army’s long-standing Christmas traditions, and continues to be the largest fundraising initiative across Canada.

Funds raised through the kettle campaign make a difference in your community – providing essential services and compassionate care to millions of people who face poverty, addiction, homelessness, abuse and other serious situations which they cannot manage on their own.

Thank you for partnering with us in giving hope today!
