It’s time to ring those bells!  On Saturday, November 23rd between 11am and 3pm, The Salvation Army’s recognizable red kettles will line the corner of Howe & Georgia at the Pacific Centre Rotunda.  We invite the community to celebrate the launch of the Greater Vancouver Christmas Kettle Campaign by joining us as we paint the corner red.

On site will be local media personalities, celebrities and sports teams ringing bells and helping  to fill the kettle, along with hot chocolate, The Salvation Army Brass Band, and plenty of Christmas spirit!

The Christmas effort is aimed at raising money and awareness about the continued need for social service programs and resources to support vulnerable individuals throughout Canada during the holiday season and year-round.

The Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Campaign is one of Canada’s largest and most recognizable annual charitable events with all dollars donated staying in the community where the donation was made.   Last year, more than $20 million was raised in the Christmas Kettles nationwide and over $4 million collected in British Columbia alone.

Use the #FilltheKettle and help us help others in Giving Hope Today!   We look forward to seeing you there.
