Tuesday, December 11th will mark the 11th year of the Donnelly Group Annual Toy Drive in partnership with The Salvation Army and the Donnelly Fund.  This highly anticipated event is feted with a public reception at Republic Nightclub.  The annual Toy Drive ensures a special Christmas for those less fortunate across the Lower Mainland. The Donnelly Group provides a $50 Toys ‘R’ Us gift certificate to each of their 500+ employees to buy gifts for underprivileged children of all ages.

Inspiring staff to really get into the spirit of giving, The Donnelly Fund matches any purchases made above and beyond the original gift card amount and is aiming to donate over $50,000 worth of toys this holiday season.  Between 7pm and 3am, guests are all encouraged to attend and bring an unwrapped gift to add to the mountain of presents.

The Donnelly Group initiated the first annual Christmas Toy Drive in 2002 with the aim of supporting the Salvation Army’s work by helping to make the holiday season special for families in need.  The event has since become one of the largest toy drives in the city, and one of The Salvation Army’s most anticipated events of the year.
