The rain didn’t stop the fun as over 700 people joined The Salvation Army for lunch at the post-parade BBQ in the parking lot of the Addictions & Rehabilitation Centre on the corner of Yates and Wharf Street.

The Westsong Community Church’s band performed an outdoor concert for the public as they enjoyed a BBQ lunch. In addition to the smokies on the grill, volunteers and staff served Mexican rice and pork chops donated by Puerto Vallarta Amigos.

The Salvation Army also offered face painting and Sally Ann tattoos for the kids ( of all ages ) and Sally Ann was there with umbrella in hand enjoying the fun with everyone!

Thank you to everyone who braved the weather to watch the parade and enjoy lunch with us it was a great day of food and friendship!
