Kelowna, British Columbia – Several community groups will come together to CANstruct a way to end hunger.  Having begun on February 6th and running through until the 12th, canned food will be constructed into extraordinary structures and put on display at Orchard Park Mall’s Skycourt.

Canstruction Kelowna is a partnership between the Rotary Club of Kelowna, the Rotary Club of Kelowna Foundation, SIFE ( Students in Free Enterprise ), The Kelowna Community Food Bank and The Kelowna Salvation Army.

This year CANstruction expects to raise over 18,000 cans of food and $4000 cash which will be shared between the Kelowna Community Food Bank and The Salvation Army Kelowna.

Major Ron Cartnell of The Salvation Army Kelowna is grateful for the support the community has shown as he shares, “this donation goes a long way to helping families in our community.”
