Garlic Harvest in Cawston, BC

Recently, Community Kitchen participants had the chance to give back by lending a helping hand by assisting with the garlic harvest at Jenn Edlington’s Food Of The Sun in Cawston, B.C.  

The Community Kitchen, operates out of The Salvation Army Church at 2469 South Main in Penticton and is a place where volunteer mentors and participants can come together to teach and learn new cooking / preserving methods, household budgeting along with nutritional solutions for a well balanced meal.

Jenn has long been a supporter of The Salvation Army by donating her ‘seconds’ to the Community Kitchen for use in cooking lessons and skill building.
