Every Spring, TELUS’ financial team initiates a “Socks for SOX” campaign during the annual SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002) certification process. Their goal is to raise enough funds to be able to contribute at least one pair of socks for every team member in the Finance Department so that while becoming “Socks compliant” they also become, “SOX Compliant”.

The goal this year was to raise enough money to purchase 800 pairs of socks.  We are thrilled to report, they surpassed their goal by raising enough for 10,000 pairs of socks Nationally. The socks are distributed in cities across the country according to the dollars collected in each of those cites.  Finance team members in the Vancouver Lower Mainland contributed funds to purchase 4000 pairs of socks for The Salvation Army Harbour Light to distribute to those in need.

We are SO grateful to TELUS’ financial team in Vancouver for their amazing fundraising efforts and ongoing support. Socks are one of the most needed donations and we are excited to pass TELUS’ donation on to our clients.

Thank you Telus!
