The Salvation Army Garage Sale

On Saturday June 11, 2011, The Salvation Army, together with Ross Place Retirement Residence, hosted the 1st Annual Garage Sale.  Businesses and the general public were asked to donate their gently used items to the sale, with all proceeds going to The Salvation Army in Victoria.  The fundraiser was a great success, the BBQ was a hit and 107.3 Kool FM was awesome live on location! The money raised will help us purchase much needed school supplies for kids in the community. raising enough money to buy backpacks, school supplies and sending kids to summer camp.
We would like to thank Starbucks, Silk Road Tea, 107.3 Kool FM and Ross Place Retirement Residence, as well as all those who came out to support us, for making the garage sale such a success.
