The Salvation Army is embarking on an innovative, hard-hitting and informative advertising campaign to address real issues facing the Nation’s younger demographic.

Creative wall posters in more than 10 universities across the country, and print ads in university or similar urban publications, will not only capture the attention of, but will make an emotional connection with youth and illustrate the types of services the Army offers with the donations it receives.

The ads are based on real stories of those who have received support from the Army and turned their lives around. For example:

One poster will have the outline of a bottle with text imbedded in the framework that tells the story of one person’s war on alcoholism, a war that The Salvation Army helped him win.

The well-executed, well-planned, ad campaign is being produced by Grey Canada, the Army’s advertising agency.

The Salvation Army continues to develop creative ways to communicate the breadth and depth of its services.
