Salvation Army Thrift Stores in Western Canada Send 101 Kids to Camp

Over a four-week period, Salvation Army Thrift Stores in Western Canada held a fundraising ‘Send a Kid to Camp,’ campaign.

From April 14 to May 14 donations were collected at participating stores and, through the public’s generosity, 101 kids will get to camp this summer who would normally not have this opportunity.

Each year Salvation Army camps provide close to 5,000 kids nationwide a safe, fun and memorable experience. For many, this is the only holiday they will get.
