The Salvation Army and MOLLY MAID are working together again this summer as MOLLY MAID collects monetary donations and non-perishable food items to help restock depleted Salvation Army food bank shelves nationwide.

With 1 in 7 Canadian children going to school hungry and more than 1.8 million Canadians receiving assistance from The Salvation Army last year, it is truly important to help The Salvation Army provide basic necessities, including nutritious food, even outside of the traditional donation months, such as Christmas and Thanksgiving.

Each year, MOLLY MAID teams up with The Salvation Army to help replenish dwindling food bank supplies.  MOLLY MAID Franchise Owners all across Canada reach out to their communities and their customers to collect non-perishable food items and even some monetary donations, to which the response has been extremely positive.

MOLLY MAID believes it is important to bring awareness to the issue of poverty and hunger and to also help out within each community nation-wide.  MOLLY MAID has run other supportive initiatives in the past as well, including the MOLLY MAID Cares Winter Coat Drive. Over the last several years, MOLLY MAID Franchise Owners and their generous customers have donated almost 200,000 pounds of food to support The Salvation Army and other local food banks in numerous communities across the country.
