It has been stated that poverty is the root cause that puts dignity out of reach. And, The Salvation Army believes that dignity is a fundamental right for all.

The Salvation Army recently conducted an online poll in an attempt to gain insight into Canadian’s perception of poverty and the impoverished. The results will be released on March 1, in conjunction with the launch of the “Dignity Project.”

Meanwhile, poll statements such as “If poor people really want to work, they can always find a job,” and “a good work ethic is all you need to escape poverty,” were addressed.

Now it’s your chance to respond to one of our poll statements on Facebook. Click the image below to take the one question poll.
