Help a Child Enjoy the Wonders of Summer Camp

For underprivileged children, the dream of experiencing summer camp often goes unfulfilled.
That’s why for the third year in a row Salvation Army Thrift Stores are running their Canada-wide Send a Kid to Camp fundraiser. The goal is to help deserving and underprivileged children enjoy nature, participate in sports, make new friends, learn new skills and have fun.
From April 2 to May 12, Salvation Army Thrift Stores are accepting donations for the summer camp initiative. It costs $220 to send one child to camp for a week.
