As Alberta starts the process of cleaning-up after devastating floods, Canadian Tire is supporting The Salvation Army to help communities recover and cope.

“Canadian Tire has been an integral part of Canadian communities for over 90 years and is proud to work with The Salvation Army to assist with disaster relief and rebuilding efforts,” says Mike Walsh, Vice President of Store Operations at Canadian Tire.  “Local participating Canadian Tire Retail stores in Alberta are accepting customer donations with 100 per cent of the proceeds raised going directly to The Salvation Army to help the families affected.”

From supplies for clean-up kits to fundraising at local stores, Canadian Tire is strengthening disaster-relief effectiveness.
