Women’s luncheon

Yesterday, the annual women's luncheon was held at The Salvation Army Citadel and more than 200 women attended a special Christmas lunch with music and table service. In addition to being an occasion for the women to gather and connect, this event was also the occasion for Mr. Shaheen Bagiran to officially present a cheque of $14 322 to l'Abri d'espoir. This money was raised thanks to the customers of the Guy-Concordia Pharmaprix, a funding initiative that Mr. Bagiran held in his Pharmaprix over the past few months. We want to thank Mr. Bagiran, as well as Mr. Benoit Dorais, mayor of the Sout-West borough, who delivered a touching and inspiring speech. Thank you also to Dominique Anglade and Monique Vallée for their presence, a witness to their involvement among Montreal’s women in need. Finally, thank you to all our volunteers and employees who served the lunch to these women. The smile on their faces is a great testimony to the joy they experienced during this day.
