SASKATOON, SK – The Salvation Army Saskatoon Community Centre was host to the 3rd Annual Spring Break Camp to over 53 children ages 7 to 12 at Beaver Creek Camp.  The camp is an opportunity for children to have something positive, fun and memorable to do during the school break while assisting parents when it is typically hard to find childcare. The five day camp was filled with a variety of activities ranging from sports, outdoor adventure, crafts, music and spiritual growth.

“The highlight for me this year was watching the creation of the Beaver Creek banner.  The campers last year had many discussions and decided on specific elements which portray the camp. The returning kids this year painted the banner based on their previous discussions.  They truly enjoyed creating something to illustrate what Beaver Creek Camp is to them”  Debra Prosofsky, camp co-ordinator.
