Circle of Hope 2015 (6)

On Thursday May, 28th, 2015 the Ontario Central East Divisional Commander Lieut.-Colonel Sandra Rice welcomed fifty members of our Circle of Hope into the Savoy Event Centre, Markham for a lovely English High Tea.

Our Circle of Hope members are individuals who have made the decision to include The Salvation Army in their lasting legacy. Their future gifts and ongoing commitment to the Army allows us to continue our legacy of giving everlasting hope.

The annual Circle of Hope Donor Appreciation gives us a chance to personally thank these donors and to welcome new donors to the group. This year our Circle of Hope members had the opportunity to listen to Mr. Joe Roberts, the Skid Row CEO, as he recounted his story of perseverance, determination and the resiliency of the human spirit.

As guests enjoyed their elegant English High Tea, Joe’s speech moved many members to great outpourings of emotion and encouraged discussions amongst guests as the afternoon’s festivities were winding down.

Our newest members were inducted to the Circle of Hope and received a commemorative certificate and photo memorializing the moment. As the entire group of Circle of Hope members came together for one last photo their warmth, commitment and love for The Salvation Army radiated throughout the room and into each person’s heart.
