Halifax – The Salvation Army is pleading for donations after it lost the entire stock of a south-end thrift store when the adjacent restaurant caught fire. The Salvation Army Thrift Store at 5280 Green Street sustained major smoke and water damage after a blaze erupted at the restaurant next door on Saturday. Read more
