The numbers are staggering, 1-in-8 families suffer from food insecurity in Canada, leading to over 850,000 Canadians relying on food banks each year.

Across the Maritime Provinces, The Salvation Army recognizes that hunger is an everyday reality for many and we offer a variety of feeding programs such as: community cafés, food banks, emergency food banks and soup kitchens to help those in need.

We believe that everyone should be treated with dignity and respect and hope that one day we can work together to make hunger history.

Please donate to a local food bank and help give hope today!
