On Saturday June 25, at Riverfront Park, Community and Family Services in Moncton N.B. hosted the first annual I Care Enough 2 Run five kilometre race. Even with the rain coming down everyone had a wonderful morning, and it was a great turnout for this first-time event.  The run was hosted in partnership with The Running Room and 91.9 The Bend.

“I am expecting this race to grow quickly and follow in the footsteps of its sister race, the Santa Shuffle,” says Dean Pritchett Community Ministries Coordinator, of The Salvation Army in Moncton.

Thank you to The Running Room, 91.9 The Bend and all volunteers who made the first ever ICE 2 Run 5 km a success. Stay tuned for next year’s race, which will be even bigger and better than this year!

Also, a reminder that registration for The Santa Shuffle is open, the run will be held December 5th, 2015. Visit: http://www.santashuffle.ca/ to register and start collecting pledges today, if you collect $50 or more in pledges you receive a free t-shirt!
