The Salvation Army in Westville, Nova Scotia, recently held its Harvest Red Shield Kickoff event.

The event was held at the Westville Civic Centre and featured performances by local musicians, including Fleur Mainville, John Spyder Macdonald and Inner Voice. In addition to the local entertainment, the event also featured door prizes and a silent auction for a number of gift baskets.

Celebrating the tradition of the Red Shield Appeal, the event raised funds to continue the work of The Salvation Army in the area.
