Annual Christmas Supper in Victoria


On Sunday December 4th,WestsongCommunityChurch will host their annual Christmas supper. The meal will be held at 798 Goldstream Ave. at Our Lady of the Rosemary Parish Hall, from 6:00pm — 8:00pm.

The meal is targeted for families or individuals on the Westshore who might not experience a home cooked meal this holiday season.  We want to provide a place where Christmas and community spirit can be enjoyed.

Sea of Lights in Victoria


The Royal Victoria Yacht Club’s annual SEA OF LIGHTS parade will set sail again on Friday December 2nd at 7:00 pm in partnership with the local Oak Bay municipality.

The purpose of this event is to contribute to civic pride and enjoyment of the holiday season, while generating donations to the Salvation Army Christmas Fund, and the Oak Bay Kiwanis charity.

The parade is led by HMCS Oriole, and engages some thirty-plus brightly-decorated boats!

At it again! 2nd Annual Toys4Kids!


This year will mark the second annual Toys4Kids Drive, initiated by grade 11 student Miguel Ramos from Burnaby.  In its inaugural campaign benefiting The Salvation Army, over $5000 and 4500 toys for raised – ensuring that Christmas morning was special for every child across the lower mainland.

Toys 4 Tickets: a huge success!


Thank you to Impark and all those who came out to support the work being done by The Salvation Army in participating in a one day, 4 hour event during which, people had the opportunity to donate a toy and have their parking violation waived.

On Thursday, November 24th inVancouver, Kamloops, Kelowna and Prince George, The Salvation Army received generous donations that truly marked the spirit of the season.
