2016_Make_A_Dent_Richmond_06Craftsman Collision and Save On Foods once again teamed up on behalf of The Salvation Army to host their annual, day long 'Make A Dent' Food Drive on October 1st.

With 1 in 13 Canadian families struggling with food insecurity, it is imperative that we ensure that no family, no child goes hungry. Hosted at 14 locations throughout the province, Craftsman Collision pledges to match every item donated which means that for every can, two cans will make it onto a shelf at local Salvation Army Family Services and Meal Centre units. The Salvation Army has seen an increase in demand across the province of BC as more families are struggling to make ends meet and seeking assistance. As we approach Thanksgiving and the season of sharing our blessings, keep in mind the following food items that are most needed:Canned meat and vegetables, peanut butter, rice, cereal, hamburger helper, baked beans, tomato sauce, toilet paper, diapers, canned fruitThank you to our community partners and to you for making a difference in your community and in the lives of our neighbors.Sharing is Caring.

Stay tuned for totals from our 'Make a Dent' event on Saturday.
