Aldergrove Financial Group, Envision Financial, and Prospera Credit Union have partnered for the 3rd time to present the Ride into History event on July 25th & 26th. This fun, family event is a fundraiser for The Salvation Army Gateway of Hope in Langley with the money raised going directly to benefit and fund the vital community services provided by the team at The Gateway of Hope.

“Friday evening’s Cruise ‘n’ Concert will kick off the weekend at the Fort Langley National Historic Site’s Orchard with a spectacular concert featuring the Valley’s own Randy ELVIS Friskie and a Cruise-In for everyone to enjoy,” says Troy Gaglardi, Chair of the Ride into History Committee. The event organizers encourage car and bike enthusiasts alike to bring out their classics or showpieces, but also for families to come out enjoy a night of good, clean entertainment. Donations will be accepted for The Gateway of Hope’s work in the Langley/Aldergrove areas.

“It’s important to recognize why we are doing what we are doing in the Langley community and the impact we are making. That is why we will share a special testimony at the Saturday Banquet from one of Gateway’s Opportunities Program residents who is finding success in our programs,” says Les McAusland, Emergency Shelter & Opportunities Program Manager at The Gateway of Hope.

Saturday is for all motorcyclists who register for $65 online to enjoy a pancake breakfast, scenic valley ride, lunch, bike rodeo and delicious prime rib dinner provided by Milestones Langley. Registration fee includes the 3 meals and a commemorative T-shirt and pin. Those interested are asked to visit www.rideintohistory.ca for more information and to register online.

“I really enjoyed the ride last year, great people, and great food,” remarks Rod Peacock, President of Rev Sales & Marketing. “I was particularly impressed with the three community credit unions who are working together as major sponsors and supporting such an impactful organization. I have already registered for this year and look forward to an enjoyable weekend.”
