The 19th Annual CHEK Drive Thru in Victoria and the 10th Annual CHEK News Give&GO in Nanaimo were tremendous successes!!

These events could not be possible without the support of the CHEK News.

Victoria’s Drive Thru was held at Accent Inns on Blanshard. The 1 ton truck was almost full of food, the 5 ton truck was half full of household goods, cash donations of $2,000 was also made on site.

Nanaimo’s Give&GO collected 7,000lbs of food and $1,400 worth of cash donations!

The Salvation Army wishes to thank everyone that came out and made a donation as well as all of our sponsors. These two events are instrumental in meeting the need of those less fortunate.
