This year will mark the second annual Toys4Kids Drive, initiated by grade 11 student Miguel Ramos from Burnaby.  In its inaugural campaign benefiting The Salvation Army, over $5000 and 4500 toys for raised – ensuring that Christmas morning was special for every child across the lower mainland.

In the fall of 2010, St. Thomas More Collegiate teacher, Dave Ruzycki challenged the students in his Planning 10 class, to go into their local communities and make a difference, and give hope.  Ramos responded and engaged in an inspired way, by organizing theToys4Kids Drive.

People are encouraged to donate a new, unwrapped toy or make a cash donation with all proceeds directly going to support the work being done by The Salvation Army.  Additionally, all in attendance will receive a free pancake breakfast with coffee.
