On Saturday, October 8th, with the support of its staff and customers, Kin’s Farm Market raised well over $3000 during their one day campaign supporting the work and efforts of The Salvation Army.

“The Salvation Army is excited about Kin’s Farm Market’s efforts in helping us to help others this Thanksgiving,” said Lauren Chan of The Salvation Army. “We’re incredibly inspired by their gift of giving to those in need this holiday season by encouraging their customers to donate to The Salvation Army.”

On Thanksgiving Saturday, staff at Kin’s Farm Market locations across the Lower Mainland asked customers to provide a $1 donation. Over 3000 people responded with a yes, resulting in a total of $3166 raised.

“The expectations of this season make things particularly difficult for families experiencing hardships—many are going through this season without simple necessities, let along having the luxury of celebrating with loved ones,” said Kenneth Lai of Kin’s Farm Market. “Kin’s Farm Market has always believed in supporting our community, and to have this belief reflected in the generosity of our customers, it has really made us appreciate the spirit of this holiday, and encouraged us to continue supporting great organizations such as The Salvation Army”.

Thank you to Kin’s Farm Market’s for their support and generosity.
