The Salvation Army’s Twitter account (@salvationarmy) has reached an important milestone, 10,000 followers! Check out some of our most memorable tweets over the years.

• January 8, 2008: The Salvation Army’s launches @salvationarmy and tweets for the first time.

• June 12, 2008: Salvation Army summer camps provided an memorable experience for at risk children.

• October 7, 2009: The Salvation Army releases the first annual Food Services report looking at food programs and donation and demand trends across the country.

• March 1, 2010: The Salvation Army responds to the devastating earthquake in Haiti.

• September 14, 2010: The Salvation Army releases 09/10 annual review focusing on the concept of hope and dignity for all.
