salvationarmy_haiti_5Salvation Army trained personnel from its International Headquarters in London, England and Southern U.S, will be on the ground in Haiti as soon as possible. They will do a speedy, but detailed assessment of what needs to be done, the capacity of the Army to meet those needs and what outside assistance will be required, both in funds and personnel.

It is still somewhat difficult to receive news due to the serious breakdown in communication. The Salvation Army continues to contact its workers in Haiti to ensure their safety as they assess immediate needs and provide relief where possible.

Please support The Salvation Army’s relief effort in Haiti.
