Description

National Recycling Operations – Thrift Store adheres to its core values of compassion, respect, excellence, integrity, relevance, cooperation, and celebration.  NRO supports The Salvation Army by recycling and selling donated goods which generate funds in support of its social service programs within our communities.

As a Store Manager you will plan, direct, and control all aspects of the store’s operations.  In doing so, you will ensure consistent profitability by maintaining high standards in sales, merchandising, marketing, floor displays, store promotions, guest service, public relations and expense control.

Our ideal candidate possesses a college diploma in business/retail or an equivalent combination of education and experience; including 5 plus years of demonstrated customer service focused retail management experience.  You have superior time management skills; excellent oral and written communication skills, strong people skills, and are computer literate with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, internet, and basic office equipment and have knowledge of basic accounting procedures. The successful candidate will be required to provide Criminal Record Check satisfactory to the employer.
