The Salvation Army would like to express its gratitude to the public, volunteers, team members, businesses, emergency services as well as the authorities who dedicate their efforts to support their fellow citizens of Lac-Mégantic.

The Salvation Army has been present onsite since the beginning of this terrible tragedy. On July 17, 2013, the mayor of Lac-Mégantic highlighted the work of the Salvation Army at a press conference. Our team currently serves approximately 300 meals and snacks per day, mostly to help firefighters and municipal workers so that they can find a source of comfort and energy to carry out their invaluable efforts.

Donations can be made by phone at 1-800-725-2769 or by texting 45678 SALUT12.
