St. Albert Salvation Army Celebrates 30th Anniversary
August 20 & 21 was a weekend of celebration with The Salvation Army marking its 30th anniversary of ministry in and around St. Albert with a pancake breakfast and BBQ as well as the end of a successful day camp program.
From humble beginnings in the basement of one of the founding families has arisen a robust and extensive organization, meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs for the community, including residents of senior’s lodges, nursing homes, hospitals, and area prisons.
“We are very pleased, and more than a little proud, to be celebrating 30 years of Salvation Army ministry in St. Albert and the surrounding area, and we pray God’s blessing for many more years to come”, says Major Terry Cook.
