Socks For Souls Campaign Exceeds Expectations

Sometimes making a big difference starts with a simple idea to help. Capital Colour Press Ltd. did just that with their “Socks for Souls” campaign this Christmas season. Greg Himer, Sales Rep at Capital Colour in Edmonton, asked for donations of new socks for The Salvation Army hoping to get 1000 pairs by Christmas. Instead, 3150 pairs were donated filling nearly 2 crates!

The socks will be given out at various Salvation Army units in Edmonton over the next few weeks, which will make a big difference to Edmonton’s homeless as winter sets in.
