Another successful Golf Classic, another $200,000 nearer our $1 million dollar goal! As of this tournament at the Highlands Golf Club on June 3, 2014, we are at 90% of this goal, so thank you to everyone who participated in this years’ 12th Annual Supreme Group Salvation Army Golf Classic – golfers, sponsors, donors, and volunteers. We hope each of you had as much fun on and off the course as we did!

The funds raised are going towards a new Addictions & Residential Centre (ARC) building here in Edmonton, to replace the old, outgrown, and worn-out building currently being used. The ARC has many programs and services for up to 280 men and women every day, such as transitional housing, mental health beds, addictions treatment and recovery, and emergency beds for various situations – including safe housing for those rescued from human trafficking.

The current ARC building was built in 1956, and has been well-used, but we’ve outgrown the current building. The new building project is in the early stages still, but we look forward to the day we can move into a brand new facility that can accommodate all we can offer to those in the fight of their lives against addiction, struggling with mental health issues, needing a place to call home, needing to be safe.

Your support of this tournament and our services means the world to a lot of people, and we hope that you join us again next year. Thank-you.
