Each year Calgarians find it in their hearts to bring smiles to the faces of children by donating to the Toy Angels campaign. Mookie and Billie Jo, Live Lite FM Broadcast morning show hosts, were joined by Calgary Police chief, Rick Hanson, the Heebee Jeebees, and Calgary Roughnecks Captain, Andrew McBride. Each guest shared a similar message, “No families should have to go without at Christmas time.” Only a few hours into the campaign and it was crystal clear that the spirit of giving was alive and well in the minds of Calgarians. A large amount of toys had already begun to pile up in the Toy Angels tent.

The 19th annual Toy Angels campaign begins on November 6, and runs through to December 20, with the donations going towards The Salvation Army’s Christmas Program.
