Divisional Secretary for Public Relations & Development, Capt. Pam Goodyear, reports from the response area:

Our Thrift Store and Corps in High River have both flooded, as has our Thrift Store in Claresholm. Our Lethbridge Canteen is on site at the evacuation centre serving food, and around 700 people were fed yesterday between 4:00pm and 11:30pm at the Blackie evacuation centre.

Even though some of our buildings and services in the area are affected, we will continue to respond and provide emergency disaster services.

Monetary donations can be made at www.SalvationArmy.ca/floodrelief or by calling 1-800-SAL-ARMY.
