  1. I heard this interview but didn’t hear Major Andre Craibe say anything to suggest that the Salvation Army would discriminate against anyone in te LGBT community in the delivery of their services or even in employing people from the LGBT community. So, I’m not sure such an apology is required.

However, through a line of entrapment questions with insufficient oportunity and latitude to answer them, a poorly prepared Major Craibe seemed to lack the knowledge and verbal wit to handle the situation. All this played very well into the interviewers hands in attempting to smear the Salvation Army in a manner that is misleading of both their Christan practise as well as the essence of the faith.

  2. I have long supported the Salvation Army and was horrified when I read that they were linked with discriminatory policies against the LGBT community. Thank you for publicly putting me and others in Vancouver at ease, that the Salvation Army is for all people in need.
