Love The Salvation Army & all that it is and does.
I think sometimes we should concentrate on putting Christ 1st and not Wm Booth’s soap, soup and salvation. Instead, God’s word. Several times in the Bible Jesus taught them 1st and then gave food. That and communion.
With all the traditions and symbols in the army we need to focus on Christ and what he says and commands. Doesn’t have to be wine just grape juice. As often as you meet together do this in rememberance of me.
Just a thought! Put Christ 1st and the rest will fall in place. It might strengthen our churches. God bless!
What happened to talking about the ministry of the Churches. It’s no wonder the community cant see the Salvation army as a church. as well as a social services group.
